Edinburgh Comedy Awards 2026: Here are the 20 acts nominated for the Comedians’ Choice Awards 2026
They are the awards for comedians voted for by comedians.
We’re now into the last week of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2026 and the shortlists for the various awards are now coming thick and fast.
The big one is the Edinburgh Comedy Award, which has launched the careers of many now-familiar faces, with the shortlist announced on Wednesday, August 26.
But the latest to show its hand is the Comedians’ Choice Awards - voted on by comedians appearing at the Fringe.
Established in 2014, it has previously been won by the likes of Lolly Adefope, Elf Lyons, Lou Sanders, Jordan Gray and Julia Masli.
The winner will have the chance to transfer their show to the Bill Murray venue in London (as well as rehearsal time and previews for future shows) and win a £500 PR package for their next Fringe show.
Voting is currently open, with the prizes handed out at a ceremony at the Three Sisters at 4.30pm in Wednesday, August 26.
