The new streaming service will offer a wide range of plans for subscribers from saver options to full entertainment packages, as well become the home of TNT Sports.
But with HBO Max now emerging into the UK streaming space, is it really worth parting with your hard earned cash for another subscription?

When does HBO Max launch in the UK?
HBO Max will arrive in the UK on Thursday, March 26 2026.

The first thing you will likely be asking is what’s on HBO Max? Well, there are a number of exclusive shows and films which will be available to stream on the platform from day one of its UK debut.

HBO Max UK Price: How much will it cost?
If you’re considering a subscription to HBO Max, knowing how much it will cost per month is key.
One key thing to address first: pretty much every TNT Sports plan requires users to sign for a minimum 12-month period. This is not the case with the majority of entertainment-only plans (unless they are bundled with sports as well) but it’s worth keeping your eye out for to avoid any nasty surprises.

What if I’m a Sky or NOW TV customer?
If you already are a Sky Stream or Sky Glass customer with the Sky Ultimate TV and Sky Q, you will receive access to HBO Max Basic with Ads from launch.
This also applies to existing NOW Entertainment customers who will automatically be switched to the Entertainment & HBO Max Membership. A new Basic with Ads bundle will also be made available from March 26.
