Filth trailer: Explicit James McAvoy-starring clip unveiled
A NEW trailer for a film adapted from a book by Trainspotting author Irvine Welsh has been unveiled.
Filth, starring James McAvoy as a corrupt and drug-addicted Edinburgh police detective, is directed by Jon S Baird and chronicles Bruce Robertson’s misanthropic onslaught as he plots to undermine colleagues to achieve promotion.
Jamie Bell, Joanne Froggatt, Imogen Poots and Jim Broadbent also star in Filth.
The explicit trailer sees Robertson venture on a tour de force of deviancy and substance abuse in the clip’s 80-second length.
