Glasgow’s Redpath Construction unveils new top team and twin £5m-plus contracts

“The new structure provides strong continuity and will create opportunities for our staff and supply chain, as we strive for continuous improvement and successful growth” – Jim Pritchard, MD

Glasgow-based contractor Redpath Construction has secured two of its largest projects to date and bolstered its top team as it targets a significant hike in annual turnover.

The firm has appointed three new directors to support its growth plans. Susan Cardwell, Clark Moore and Iain Collins have each worked with Redpath for more than ten years. They join Jim Pritchard and Alistair Sloan, who established the company in 2008, on an expanded board.

The business has undertaken a range of major fit-out and new-build projects for public sector and commercial clients across central Scotland. It has secured major framework agreements including with the NHS and the University of Glasgow.

The management team changes see Cardwell promoted to business development director, Moore made construction director and Collins taking up the role of commercial director.

Cardwell said: “This is a pivotal point in the growth plan of our business. Our primary focus is building trusted relationships based on successful project delivery. We are on target to achieve significant turnover growth to around £18 million for the year to May 2026 and have already secured 50 per cent of our anticipated 2026/27 turnover.”

She added: “We have recently secured two of our largest projects to date, each in excess of £5m; a new-build warehouse and training facility in Fife and a product development and manufacturing extension in Glasgow.”

Pritchard, managing director, said: “The key to our success has been hands-on management, teamwork, efficient decision-making and open communication; combined with a clear corporate vision. By promoting experienced internal leaders, who already have a deep understanding of our culture, we will ensure that our business principles are at the forefront of all that we do.

“The new structure provides strong continuity and will create opportunities for our staff and supply chain, as we strive for continuous improvement and successful growth.”

The new structure has already been implemented across the business and is said to be delivering “improved internal coordination” alongside stronger engagement with clients, consultants and project stakeholders.

Moore said: “Our aim is to be a pro-active delivery partner, providing clarity, programme confidence and commercial certainty. Our clients value our expertise and understand that decisive leadership and collaboration are key factors in delivering successful projects.”

Collins added: “Our focus on teamwork, with our clients and our supply chain, is a fundamental part of our business, allowing us to manage risk, provide value engineering solutions, build stronger partnerships and maintain the transparency and trust that are at the core of our principles.”
