Fans are snapping up tickets to music legend Rod Stewart and we’ve been looking out for the very best prices from resale tickets to VIP packages

Next year will be Rod Stewart fans’ very last chance to see the legend himself on tour. There will be fewer than a dozen shows in the UK and Ireland next year as part of The Final Encore tour, culminating at the O2 in London on May 14, 2027.

These last shows promise to be joyous celebrations of Sir Rod’s huge musical legacy, incorporating countless incredible songs spanning decades. Demand has been such that tickets are already hard to get. Additional dates have been added for which tickets are now on sale.

Official ticket retailer Live Nation and Ticketmaster are reporting low availability for a number of shows so fans need to act fast to avoid missing out.

Sir Rod has not ruled out the occasional live show in the future but this is not a given and The Final Encore concerts may represent the last chance for many fans to see their idol and hear performances of hits such as The First Cut is the Deepest, You’re in My Heart, Maggie May, Baby Jane and, of course, Sailing with which he closed his Glastonbury Legends slot performance last year.

With this in mind, fans might want to splash out with VIP hospitality tickets to ensure they get the most from what could be their last evening with Sir Rod.

There are currently VIP packages available via premium ticketing site Seat Unique, starting at £249 plus booking fee, for the second Manchester show. This gets you views of the stage from the VIP lounge that's open before and after the show, as well as premium seats on Level 1. For an extra £30, fans get food included with table service to boot.

Fans can see the range of VIP packages that are currently available via Seat Unique here.

Given the low availability of tickets for some shows, it may be that the only tickets for sale are resale tickets available via sites such as Viagogo, Vivid Tickets and StubHub. These sites allow fans to buy secondhand tickets although in the terms and conditions of the original seller - either Live Nation or Ticketmaster - there is a warning that tickets are non-transferable. That said, each of the above sites offers guarantees to fans that resale tickets will get them into the venues or they will be refunded in full or get comparable tickets.

Rod Stewart fans can shop around for tickets on Viagogo here, StubHub here or Vivid Tickets here. The cheapest Rod Stewart resale ticket we can find is £114 for the London O2 shows here. Prices on resale sites can fluctuate, however, so fans need to either act fast to secure the best prices or, alternatively, wait until the last minute when sellers may wish to offload tickets quickly as showtime approaches.
