One fan said an ‘amazing show with all the greatest hits and more, I enjoyed every minute of it’
There are just days to go before pop legends Duran Duran start their UK tour and tickets can still be had for under £80 for those with quick reflexes, so to speak.
The tour starts on Thursday, October 15, and includes shows in Glasgow, Belfast, Birmingham, Liverpool, Leeds, Brussels, Paris and ends in London on Saturday, October 31, so there isn’t much time left to get hold of tickets to be swept back through time on a glorious wave of truly great pop music.
Fans can expect to revel in great hits such as The Wild Boys, Girls On Film, Rio, The Reflex, Ordinary World, Hungry Like The Wolf, Is There Something I Should Know? and many more besides.
In the UK, the cheapest tickets start at around £76 for the Glasgow and Belfast shows where there are still a few tickets available. For the Leeds show there is very little availability though some hospitality tickets are available for the Shared Suite Experience, starting at £213.65 per person.
There are literally only a handful of tickets left for the Liverpool show, priced from £132.81, for verified resale tickets via official retailer Ticketmaster. VIP and hospitality tickets look to have sold out.
Fans in Birmingham also might have to shell out a bit more for the band’s hometown gig, given that official retailer Ticketmaster has sold out. However, premium ticket retailer Seat Unique is offering VIP packages to the gig, likely to be priced at around £290 although these are likely to be limited.
Duran Duran are still a musical force to be reckoned with and are getting rave reviews from fans who have seen the band this year.
One review on the Ticketmaster website reads: “Duran Duran in concert is the best fun you can have! Just WOW, they brought the party! The whole house stood and danced the whole show. Absolutely pointless having seats at a Duran Duran concert because no one sits down for Nick, Simon, John, Roger & Dom!”
Given the excitement and many fans standing and dancing, those with mobility issues may wish to contact venues beforehand to make sure their enjoyment is not curtailed by all this pop exuberance.
Still, the vast majority of fans were delighted by Duran Duran’s recent shows, one saying: “Amazing show with all the greatest hits and more. I went for a great show. It was one hour and 40 minutes. Enjoyed every minute of it.”
