How can I watch the Emmy Awards 2026 in the UK?

In Britain the Emmy Awards ceremony will be shown live on LG 1.

The free channel comes pre-intalled into LG smart televisions but is comepletely free and can be viewed over the LG app or online.

Why are the Emmy Awards on a Monday rather than a Sunday?

The Emmys traditionally take place on a Sunday, but the channel that broadcasts them in the US rotates.

This year it’s NBC’s turn to show the ceremony but if they were hed at the usual time it would clash with the channel’s prime-time American Football match between the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants. Due to that it has been put back to the Monday instead.
