Students rally in protest of fiscal policy
HUNDREDS of students took part in a march on the Royal Mile and a rally at the Scottish Parliament against Tory cuts in education.
The demonstration was called to highlight concerns that young people are being disproportionately forced to pay for the effects of an economic crisis they had no part in causing.
John Martin, Student President of Learning and Teaching at Stevenson College Edinburgh, said: “The future of our youth is being put on the line.”
