The John Lewis Christmas TV adverts have proved to be a hit every year, with the short film often telling an emotional and heart-warming story that is designed to spread some festive cheer. The adverts have become such big news, that many people will have a firm favourite. 5. The Long Wait (2011)
This advert shows a young boy impatiently waiting for Christmas, in order to give his gift to his parents. 6. The Journey (2012)

Lily Allen’s cover of Keane’s “Somewhere Only We Know” was the soundtrack to this animated advert of a friendship between a bear and a hare.
