Scotsman Whisky Club: Trying Local Heros whiskies from Coleburn distillery

A few weeks ago I spoke to Keith Cruikshank, master distiller at Coleburn distillery about the plans for the Elgin site, but also to taste three blended whiskies, named Local Heros - Sweet Peat, Big Smoke and Sherry Bomb.

The Local Heroes collection is Coleburn's inaugural bottling, marking the start of its revival as a historic Speyside destination. It is a tribute to the whisky community, the makers, custodians, and enthusiasts, whose passion drives the industry, passion which you can hear in my chat with Keith.
