Alloa crash: Man, 81, hospitalised after driver 'may have taken ill' causing three vehicle crash
Police are appealing for information as they investigate the cause of the crash.
An 81-year-old man has been taken to hospital after a three car crash in Alloa on Thursday, as police say one of the drivers could have “taken ill” causing the collision.
Road Policing officers said the incident happened around 10.35am on Thursday on Clackmannan Road. It involved a grey Audi Q5, a grey Peugeot and a blue Audi Q3.

The 81-year-old man was taken to Forth Valley Hospital and the road was closed to allow for investigations to be carried out. The road re-opened around 2.50pm.
Sergeant Vincent Lynch said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the crash and has not already spoken to officers to come forward.
“Enquiries are ongoing into the cause of the crash, however, one line of enquiry is that one of the drivers had taken ill.
“We would ask anyone with dash-cam footage to review this and see if it has captured anything that could assist with our investigation.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 1138 of November 6.
