Berkeley Street incident: Busy Glasgow road closed off amid ongoing police incident near school
A cordon is in place.
A Glasgow city centre road has been locked down amid an ongoing incident.
Emergency services were called to Berkeley Street on Friday morning and remain on the scene.
The nature of the incident is currently unknown.
It is understood a police cordon has been placed in a section outside the Sikh temple Central Gurdwara and Glasgow Gaelic School.

A witness who was taking her sons to school at around 8.45am said: “I have no idea what’s happened.
“There’s police tape blocking anyone from going anywhere near the school playground so all the children had to use the main door at the other end.
“There’s a policeman and ambulance there so you can’t even get near it.”
