Police said they are following a “positive line of enquiry”.
Police are investigating an attempted theft after a “stranger” was found in a primary school building in Glasgow.
Emergency services were called to Cardonald Primary School at 9.45am on Wednesday after an unknown person was spotted on the school premises.

In a post on Facebook, the parent council said the incident happened shortly after the school bell, while all pupils and teachers were in their classrooms.
They said the person left the building before the police arrived.
Police confirmed they were treating the incident as an attempted theft, and that they were following a positive line of enquiry.
Glasgow City Council has contacted parents offering reassurance.
They said health and safety officers are visiting the school on Thursday to carry out a risk assessment.
Police also carried out checks of the school’s exits and entrances after the incident.
The school has urged parents to “remain vigilant” and said it will reiterate its “stranger danger” messages to pupils.
A council spokesperson said: “Staff acted swiftly when made aware of a member of the public on school premises and contacted the police who are now investigating.
“All our schools take the safety of their pupils and staff seriously and will be reiterating the stranger danger message to children.
“The school is being visited by council health and safety officials to see if there are any additional mitigations that can be added to the building’s robust risk assessments.”
