Edinburgh Airport LIVE: Flights begin to resume after IT outage but knock-on disruption continues

All flights were halted on Friday morning at Edinburgh Airport due to a major IT outage.
In a post to social media, Edinburgh Airport announced an IT issue affecting its air traffic control provider meant all flights had to be halted.
It is now understood the problem has been resolved.
Edinburgh Airport is the sixth busiest in the UK, and the busiest in Scotland.It was used by 15.8 million passengers last year.
The airport urged passengers to contact their airline for the latest information on flights.
