Warning over rise in share selling scams
THE City watchdog yesterday warned consumers to be on their guard against fraudsters selling shares.
The Financial Services Authority said it had seen a "dramatic increase" in fraudsters pretending to be from authorised firms in a bid to convince consumers they are legitimate.
