Terminal V 2027 will be held at Clydeside Live, a dedicated open air events space in development along the River Clyde in Glasgow.

Terminal V has revealed it will move to a brand new open-air events space in Glasgow to celebrate its landmark 10th anniversary.

The hugely popular electronic music festival will become the first to be held at Clydeside Live, a dedicated new location along the north bank of the River Clyde. The first three day edition of Terminal V - and its first fully outdoors in Scotland - the upcoming event will take place from Friday, June 4 to Sunday, June 6 2027.

Produced by independent Scottish events company EE Live, Terminal V first announced its move from Edinburgh to Glasgow earlier this year, with the exact location remaining under wraps until now.

Clydeside Live is being developed as the largest open-air events space in the city, and a new destination for live music and events in Scotland. Set amid Glasgow’s historic docklands and with the area’s industrial past still visible across the landscape, the waterfront site will provide a dramatic backdrop for Terminal V, with its world-class electronic line-up.

As well as the music festival, the location is due to host a varied programme of seasonal attractions and entertainment.

Terminal V 2027 to be ‘largest and most ambitious’ festival yet

Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the upcoming edition of Terminal V will feature a new main stage concept for Area V, with other renowned stages The Hangar and The Greenhouse reimagined for the outdoor setting as revealed in renders.

It arrives exactly after the 2017 launch of the festival, which started as a 2,000 capacity one-day event at Edinburgh’s Royal Highland Centre. Now one of the leading electronic music festivals in the world, it has welcomed more than quarter of a million fans over the years - more than 30% of which now come from outside of Scotland.

As well as Terminal V in Scotland, there are now events in Croatia, Australia and London.

Derek Martin and Simon McGrath, the founders of Terminal V, said: “Finding the right home for the next chapter of Terminal V was hugely important to us, and from the moment we saw this site we could see its potential.

“The scale, the riverside setting and the industrial landscape around it feel completely aligned with Terminal V and give us the freedom to create something we simply couldn’t have done before.”

They added: “We’ve seen venues like Silverworks Island demonstrate just how exciting these large-scale outdoor inner city spaces can be for electronic music, and we believe Clydeside Live has the potential to become one of the most exciting new outdoor event destinations in the UK.

“For our 10th anniversary, we have the opportunity to build the festival from the ground up, rethink our stages and production for the setting and create an experience that feels distinctly Glasgow while still being unmistakably Terminal V. We can’t wait for people to see what we have planned.”
