Rangers’ squad underwent a serious revamp in the summer transfer window, with the Glasgow giants bringing in a whopping 15 players in pre-season. Meanwhile, a similar number departed through the Ibrox exit door.
James Tavernier, Thelo Aasgaard and Mohamed Diomande all left for pastures new, while youngsters Paul Nsio, Mason Munn and Lyall Cameron completed loan exits as they looked for more senior experience.
It started extremely rocky, but new manager Derek McInnes looks to have got Rangers fit and firing, with recruits Dan Neil, Olwethu Makhanya and Kevin Kelsy all shining over the last month as they look to catch Celtic at the top of the Scottish Premiership. But what has happened to those that have left?
Here we look at the 15 Rangers players who moved away from the club before the start of the new campaign, and assess how they have done for their new teams in the opening months of the season. Who has found success away from Ibrox - and who regrets their decision to leave?

1. Thelo Aasgaard - Anderlecht (loan)
The Norwegian international scored an important equaliser against Dundee United on the opening day, but drifted out of the starting XI in the weeks that followed, before moving to Lotto Park on loan for the season. He hasn't pulled up any trees for Anderlecht yet, starting just once for the Belgian giants in a 2-1 Europa League defeat to Lyon. | Getty Images Photo: Getty Images

2. Nedim Bajrami - Al-Taawoun (loan)
The Albanian never really got going at Ibrox after joining the club for £3.4million on deadline day two summers ago. He moved to the Saudi Pro League on a loan-to-buy deal, but has had little impact for his new side. He hasn’t scored or assisted in his first four appearances. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group

3. Ben Davies - Bolton Wanderers
A major flop at Rangers, he spent his final two years at Ibrox on loan to Birmingham City and Oxford United. He signed on a free transfer for Bolton in the summer and has done reasonably well, helping his side keep clean sheets in 50 per cent of the games he has started. | Getty Images Photo: Getty Images

4. Jack Butland - Hull City
The experienced England international signed for newly promoted Hull in the summer, but suffered an elbow injury on the club's pre-season tour and has been ruled out since. He's expected back later this month. | Getty Images Photo: Getty Images
