2026 marks an important milestone in the history of the UK’s biggest dance festival, Creamfields.
Though the event has been running since 1998, those familiar with their surroundings since the move to Daresbury Estate in Cheshire might want to pop open a bottle of bubbly next year, as it will mark 20 years of the festival taking place at the beloved location - home to the recently developed HALO and, according to my editor, one of the most “chilled” festival camping atmospheres they’ve experienced in a while.
The festival is known for making a “big deal” when it comes to important milestones, and as the general mood of the music listening public is starting to gravitate once again towards all things electronic, could one of these 15 acts make an ideal headliner in 2026?
We’ve taken a look at some of the names that have permeated Creamfields’ history since its beginnings, several recent acts that have made waves performing at either Tomorrowland in Belgium or Coachella in the United States, along with some of our favourites over the years, to guess, at this point, who could be a headline act next year.
Would you be keen to head along if one of these names were announced?

9. Judge Jules
An absolute legend in the trance world and a massive part of Creamfields' history, Judge Jules has played at almost every edition of the festival since its inception. While a main stage headline slot might be a stretch, he is a perfect contender for a special, classic trance set on a larger stage. 10. Calvin Harris
After a few years away, the king of the radio and main stage, Calvin Harris, is a hot topic for a Creamfields comeback. He's headlined multiple times, and his live show is pure festival gold. With a back catalogue of anthems that spans over a decade, a headline set would be a non-stop sing-along for the entire festival. | Getty Images

11. 2manydjs
2manydjs have a rich history with Creamfields. Their sets are a chaotic, genre-bending mix of rock, pop, and dance that can turn any crowd into a frenzy. A headline set would be a very cool and left-field choice, celebrating their legendary status and providing a wild alternative to the more traditional DJ sets. | Francois Durand/Getty Images for Spotify

12. Alison Wonderland
This American DJ and producer is a great shout for a headline slot. Alison Wonderland has a huge, dedicated following and a reputation for putting on incredibly emotional and energetic live shows. Her music is a unique blend of bass, trap, and pop, which would be a perfect addition to a diverse Creamfields line-up. | Mark Davis/Getty Images
