Cast Edinburgh Queen's Hall ticket presales, prices and support
The band are heading back out on the road after supporting Oasis on their massive comeback tour
Britpop legends Cast have announced a UK headline tour for October 2026 - and it includes a visit to Edinburgh.
The Liverpool band, whose biggest hits include Walkaway, Alright and Fine Time, will play at the Queen's Hall on Friday, October 2.
The tour is in support of their new album, Yeah Yeah Yeah, and follows a busy period for the band, including UK stadium dates with Oasis in 2025. They also went out on their own headline tour last year, celebrating the 30th anniversary of All Change, which remains Polydor Records' biggest-selling debut album of all time.
On the album's release, in January, frontman John Power told Highwire Daze: “To me, the title sums up the record: fresh, spirited, full of character. It feels like a new chapter for us. We’ve been around a long time, but this album looks forward. The arrangements, the songwriting, the performances - they all feel very present. Our legacy is in there, but the sound is moving ahead.
“People have been saying it’s the best thing we’ve ever done. I don’t need to get into that debate, but it’s a beautiful thing to hear at this stage of our career.”
The tour kicks off at Leeds University Stylus on October 1 and, as well as Edinburgh, see the band visit Manchester, Newcastle and London before concluding with a homecoming gig at Liverpool Dome on October 24.
Special guests Trampolene will join Cast for the Edinburgh, Leeds and Manchester shows, while Pastel will support on the Newcastle, London and Liverpool dates.
