An iconic festival staple, The Muppet Christmas Carol is coming to Scotland this winter as part of a live orchestra tour.
Fans of the Disney film starring Michael Caine as Ebenezer Scrooge with Kermit the Frog as Bob Cratchit, Miss Piggy as Emily Cratchit, Fozzie Bear as Fozziwig, Robin the Frog as Tiny Tim and more, will be able to enjoy it accompanied by a live orchestra at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall and Edinburgh’s Usher Hall in December.
The original score for the film was composed by Miles Goodman, with songs from Oscar, Grammy and Emmy award winner Paul Williams.

When do tickets go on sale?
Tickets to see Disney’s The Muppet Christmas Carol live in concert will go on sale from 10am on Friday, April 24.
They can be purchased from Ticketmaster, Disney Tickets or via individual venues.

Ticket prices for those hoping to see The Muppets Christmas Carol with a live orchestra will range from around £37 to around £77.
That’s including some fees, and applies to both Scottish dates. Prices will vary from venue to venue and based on seating and other factors such as fees.
