Filming for superhero film The Batman: Part II is now underway in Glasgow, with the much anticipated movie set to be released in cinemas in early 2028.
It’s the latest blockbuster to be filmed in the city, with Glasgow-set Spider-Man: Brand New Day currently smashing box office records in cinema.
Pedestrians walking down Bothwell Street would be forgiven for thinking they were on the other side of the Atlantic in Gotham City, with American street signs, American flags fire trucks, police cars and taxis at every turn.
The film stars Robert Pattinson at the tutular hero, with a supporting cast including Andy Serkis, Jeffrey Wright, Colin Farrell, Barry Keoghan, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, and Charles Dance.
Here are 13 pictures of the set before filming started.
