From warm and smoky to fresh and dreamy, the Sentier Advent Calendar brings together six candles alongside its fragrances.
I’m already a big fan of Sentier’s fragrances, but it’s the six scented candles inside the calendar that have really caught my attention. Each one offers a completely different scent, ranging from warm and smoky notes to fresher, greener and more dreamy fragrances, so there’s plenty to discover as you count down to Christmas.
Alongside the candles, the calendar also features Sentier perfumes, giving you the best of both worlds. You can find a fragrance you love to wear while also filling your home with beautiful scents. The whole calendar takes you through six very different fragrance worlds, making each day feel like a new discovery.

Ombre de Miel is the one I reach for when I want the house to feel cosy. It combines black tea and spice with leather, tobacco and honey for a warm, resinous scent that sounds deep and wonderfully atmospheric.
Then there’s Botanical Sanctuary, which transports you somewhere completely different. Inspired by a Balinese villa surrounded by lush rainforest, it’s designed to evoke the sound and feeling of rain falling outside while you’re tucked away somewhere peaceful.
Alpine Chalet takes another turn, with the crisp scent of towering pines and fresh alpine air. I can imagine this one being particularly lovely through autumn and winter when you want your home to have that fresh, outdoorsy feeling without actually having to leave the sofa.
Land of Dreams is the more whimsical of the collection, taking its inspiration from a dreamlike world filled with endless possibilities. Whispering Spell follows a similarly magical theme, designed to create a sense of wonder when lit.
And then there’s Lait de Feu, which is actually my son’s favourite candle. It combines roasted coffee, maple sweetness and aged rhum with vanilla, sandalwood and vetiver for a warm, intimate fragrance.
The variety is what makes the candle collection so appealing. You aren’t getting six versions of the same scent. Instead, there’s something for different moods and different moments, whether you want your home to smell fresh and green, cosy and spicy or warm and indulgent.
