Two further men have been charged in connection with the death of a man who was shot in West Lothian.
Police Scotland said that a 29-year-old and a 44-year-old, who had been arrested following the death of Billy Watson, 35, in Armadale a week ago, had now been charged.
It comes after Frank McCarthy appeared at Livingston Sheriff Court on Friday, charged with murder and attempting to defeat the ends of justice in connection with the case.
The 57-year-old made no plea and he was remanded in custody.
The 29-year-old man and 44-year-old man who have now been charged are expected to appear in the same court on Monday.
Mr Watson was pronounced dead after officers were called to a report of a man injured within a property on Harestanes Road around 11.50am on Saturday September 12 2026.
After a post-mortem examination, police confirmed the 35-year-old’s death was being treated as murder.
