Happy Gilmore 2 might just break a world record for most cameos in a film. The long-awaited sequel arrives after nearly 30 years and it is packed to the brim with celebrity appearances.
From podcasters to musicians and of course golf stars, there are so many you probably struggled to keep track. Remind yourself of who is in the cast of the Netflix movie.
Adam Sandler is back as the titular character, but this time he has assembled an incredible list of stars to join him. The movie landed on streaming on Friday (July 25) - just in time for the weekend.
Having dived in to watch it myself - counting the original as among my childhood favourites - I have decided to rank all of the celebrity appearances in the movie. The list goes from worst to best, based on my own enjoyment, and includes a very surprising number one!

37. 5 - Steve Buscemi - Pat
Now this is a true cameo - legendary actor Steve Buscemi appears several times as Happy’s neighbour Pat and absolutely nails the assignment. The character never overstays his welcome. | Roy Rochlin/Getty Images for Netflix Photo: Roy Rochlin/Getty Images for Netflix

38. 4 - John Daly - himself
Perhaps this would not even qualify as a cameo as John Daly has a rather substantial part in the film. The former golf pro lives with Happy for reasons never explained - but he has amazing chemistry with Adam Sandler and Happy’s family. A real treat. | Netflix Photo: Netflix

39. 3 - Margaret Qualley - Sally
Perhaps this will be a controversial one - but only with people who have no taste! As previously mentioned, I really rated the whole trio of amateur golfers and think that is one of the best parts of the film. Sally is the undisputed best of the three and is a really great comedic performance. | Jamie McCarthy/Getty Images Photo: Jamie McCarthy/Getty Images

40. 2 - Bad Bunny - Oscar
Latin Pop superstar Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio might be another that dances between cameo and a more substantial role - I was always going to be biased in this one. But I think despite me being a massive Bad Bunny fan, you have to admit he is one of the best parts of the film - the scene at the batting cage and his ‘happy place’ are hilarious. | Netflix Photo: Netflix
