Happy Gilmore 2 might just break a world record for most cameos in a film. The long-awaited sequel arrives after nearly 30 years and it is packed to the brim with celebrity appearances.
From podcasters to musicians and of course golf stars, there are so many you probably struggled to keep track. Remind yourself of who is in the cast of the Netflix movie.
Adam Sandler is back as the titular character, but this time he has assembled an incredible list of stars to join him. The movie landed on streaming on Friday (July 25) - just in time for the weekend.
Having dived in to watch it myself - counting the original as among my childhood favourites - I have decided to rank all of the celebrity appearances in the movie. The list goes from worst to best, based on my own enjoyment, and includes a very surprising number one!

33. 8 - Jon Lovitz - ‘Dapper’ man
Look, if Jon Lovitz is in a film or TV show and he does his dopey rich guy routine, it is going to work for me. What can I say, I am an easy mark. | Jamie McCarthy/Getty Images Photo: Jamie McCarthy/Getty Images

34. 7 - Sadie Sandler - Charlotte
One of the young Sandlers in the film - I think Sadie (C) really stands out as support group member Charlotte. The recurring bits of her being forced to do chores for Hal work really well and she has good on-screen dynamic with Happy. | Roy Rochlin/Getty Images for Netflix Photo: Roy Rochlin/Getty Images for Netflix

35. Special mention - Cameron Boyce
Adam Sandler beautifully pays tribute to his former Grown Ups and Grown Ups 2 co-star Cameron Boyce, who died in 2019. A clip of the actor in the Disney Channel show Jessie appears briefly - it is a touching creative decision. | Alberto E. Rodriguez/Getty Images Photo: Alberto E. Rodriguez/Getty Images

36. 6 - Ben Stiller - Hal
Returning from his cameo in Happy Gilmore, Ben Stiller gets to show off his considerable comedy chops once more. My only gripe is his role in the ending - which is just a watered-down version of the original, but that is a legacy sequel for you. | Netflix Photo: Netflix
